Very cool vintage unit for manipulating the sound of your signal. It is a passive High Pass/Low Pass unit that you can use to cut frequencies, or, if you use it to band pass, heavily manipulate a signal to create what RCA called "Sound Effects". I tested it out and it seems to be working fine, though I did not compare set frequencies to tones or do a full analysis. It is passive, so you will need to run some gain, like a preamp, after it to bring the level back up.
If you are looking for something to thicken up a signal, give it a vintage vibe, and maybe even manipulate it a little, this would definitely do the trick!
