2001 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection '58 Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue | Faded Heritage Cherry
For sale is my 2001 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue, finished in Heritage Cherry with beautiful natural fading developed over the past 25 years.
This is an early Gibson Custom Shop Historic Reissue, built to recreate the simplicity, feel, and character of the original 1958 double-cutaway Les Paul Junior.
The Heritage Cherry finish has faded considerably over time, particularly on the front of the guitar, while the back retains much more of its original red coloring. The resulting contrast gives the instrument an authentic vintage appearance that only comes from decades of natural aging.
Featuring solid mahogany construction, a rosewood fingerboard, an original Gibson dog-ear P-90 pickup, and a wraparound bridge, this guitar delivers everything that makes a great Les Paul Junior special.
