If you’re looking for a great Nocaster without the weight that often comes with these guitars, this one is worth a look. At just 6 lbs 11 oz, it’s exceptionally lightweight and well balanced, with the tone and feel you want from a Custom Shop blackguard.
The handwound Custom Shop pickups are a highlight. They’re clear and defined but still full and rich, with plenty of character and that unmistakable early Telecaster sound. Great note separation, beautiful cleans, and plenty of bite when you dig in. Great for everything from jazz to rock and in between.
The guitar is lively and resonant, with a substantial neck that feels great in the hands. Amazing fretwork and playability. The relic finish gives it the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument without having to worry about keeping a pristine guitar pristine.
I’ve played numerous nocaster examples from Fender, Nacho, K Line, and more, and this one is one of the very best I’ve played. It’s a genuinely special Tele.
Includes the original Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, and case candy.
