The Besson Sovereign is one of Besson's professional level euphoniums. Bessons are one of the sought after models for the collegiate/professional euphoniumist.
From Besson: "The Sovereign 967 ... euphoniums with their lively response, “classic” BESSON tone and wonderful valve action are known and trusted by players all over the world. The Sovereign euphoniums are slightly lighter in weight than the Prestige models, providing a very open and free-blowing feel with an immediacy of response that appeals to many musicians. All the Sovereign models are large bore four-valve compensating instruments..."
Overall, this specific instrument is in excellent shape. Very minimal scratches or blemishes to the finish of the instrument. Was well taken care off and is looking for a good home.
