A beautiful example of a 1963 Martin 000–18. The nicest one I have ever seen. It looks like it was dropped in early life and there are some old repairs on it. A small repair on the top which is almost un noticeable but looks open in the pics. It is not, and the top may have been over sprayed to seal it. It has been in exactly the same condition since I have owned it more than 15 years. Beautiful Rich sound. Very good playability. The saddle was shaved a little by Rich Hoover ( Santa Cruz guitars) to improve playability before I got it and he ma have done the repairs but I can't verify that. The mahogany is just gorgeous rich color and the top is silky grained. Ships in a non-original Martin case in good condition. I don’t know all of the history because I am the third owner, I think. There are little handling marks in various places on this 63 year old beauty. Check out the pictures and score this once in a lifetime instrument for yourself.
