You’re looking at a 1906 Gibson Style A Mandolin w/ original case. The mandolin is in very good condition especially when you consider its 120 years old.
The one question with this instrument is the Gibson logo on the headstock. My best guess and people more knowledgeable on this than me have suggested it rubbed off and was refinished by Gibson in the 1940s. The finish on the neck and body remains original. The bridge is non original Brazilian rosewood. Golden Age tuners have been installed. The originals remain in the case.
More importantly it plays great and has a beautiful woody tone that can only come with age.
