Love this mic preamp. I've used it on all types of sources; vocals, percussion, acoustic instruments, etc. It's super fast and detailed, but not brittle-clean. It's lived on drum overheads most of its time with me. I've also used it in mastering to amplify signal loss after passive equipment to great effect. Fantastic piece that's built like a tank. Excellent condition.
