1983 Music Man Stingray in very good condition. Sunburst finish, black pickguard, maple neck & fretboard, 2-band EQ. All original and complete, apart from the missing mute sponge and non-original hard case.

The body has a number of scuffs and dings around the edges, but the front and back are very clean. The back of the neck is nice and clean; the headstock has a few scuffs around the edges. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. We cleaned and polished the frets in our workshop, and they're in great shape with plenty of life left. The electronics work perfectly, and all hardware is in excellent condition. The truss rod works correctly without issue. This is an all-around excellent bass.

It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of La Bella nickel 40-100 round-wound strings and has a great action, allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. The serial number is B022949. Weight: 9 lbs 5.5 oz / 4.24 kg. The body date is DEC 2nd, 1983. There isn't a neck date. The pots are dated to mid-82. Nut Width: 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5 mm.
