Crab Amps Marcus (MK IIC+/MK III) 50w 2020s - Orange

Amazing amp and company. These are built by one guy out in Ukraine, and he makes some KILLER clones of soooooo many popular amps. Soldano, Deizel, Mesa, Fender, you name it.

This example is a clone of the Mark IIC+.
It also has a mode switch on the back that allows you to choose between a IIC+ sound and a MK III sound! I actually personally prefer the MK III.

Instead of push/pull knobs, this amp has a ton of separate switches on the front, which I actually like better as they’re easy to see and tell what’s on and what’s off.

Fair warning though; this amp has a STEEP learning curve. It took me weeks to figure out how to dial it in. Especially cause most YouTube videos that show how to dial in a IIC+ use, well, an original IIC+, which has just slightly different controls, and definitely a different response from the graphic EQ.

The stock power tubes were very recently replaced with a set of JJ 6L6s. I’m including the boxes for those as well. I did this because all of a sudden the amp stopped working! Turns out, I inadvertently hit the bias switch on the back behind the tubes, swapping the bias to EL34s when it had 6L6s in it… whoops! Blew a fuse and the power tubes all in one go. That switch should seriously be labeled… anyways, it was repaired by T. Warren in Seattle through Re-Animated Music and he did a fantastic job! He’s been working on tube amps in the seattle area for like 50 or 60 years, it’s insane. He talked my ear off when I called him with some questions about the amp and the tubes.

Also, the little indents on the top are from another amp I just had sitting on it

ANYWAYS, I understand this is a bit more expensive than if you just ordered from Crab directly, but considering the months-long wait times and extremely expensive shipping costs, I’d say it‘s fair.
