Gibson Gibson Gold Tone GA 15 RV 2000 - Balck

Gibson Goldtone GA-15RV 15-Watt 1x10" Guitar Combo Amp with Reverb (USA Made)

Overview

Up for sale is a fantastic Gibson Goldtone GA-15RV 15-watt tube combo amplifier in Very Good condition. If you are looking for an incredibly touch-sensitive, boutique-quality amplifier that bridges the gap between classic Gibson warmth and chimey British grit, this is the amp for you.

Often described as Gibson’s take on a boutique Vox AC15, this amplifier was manufactured in the USA (designed by Tracey Elliot) and features a beautiful, Class A el34/EL84-driven topology that sings at lower volumes and barks beautifully when pushed. It sounds absolutely incredible and functions perfectly.

Tone & Features

• The "AC15" Factor: This amp delivers a gorgeous, chiming top-end and a tight, punchy midrange that immediately calls to mind a vintage Vox AC15, but with a slightly thicker, warmer low-end bloom characteristic of classic Gibson circuits.

• Pure Tube Power: Running on a pair of EL84 power tubes, this 15-watt powerhouse is deceptively loud, making it perfect for studio tracking, home practice, and small-to-medium club gigs.

• Lush Spring Reverb: The "RV" model features a built-in, tube-driven spring reverb that adds immense depth, scaling beautifully from subtle ambient space to deep, surfy wash.

• Simple, Effective Layout: Features straightforward Volume and Tone controls alongside the Reverb knob, allowing you to easily dial in your signature sound without option paralysis. A bright switch adds extra clarity for darker humbuckers.

Condition Notes

This amplifier is in Very Good condition overall. It has been well cared for in a smoke-free environment. Cosmetically, it shows only light, honest signs of minor wear from gentle use (please see detailed photos for exact cosmetic condition). Mechanically and electronically, it is rock solid—the tubes have plenty of life left, the pot controls are clean, and it sounds absolutely stellar.
