Just got this beautiful receiver out of the shop that was restored by a local Electronics repair shop by the name of Norman’s Electronics.

The unit sounds awesome, for me the wood cover can use a bit of a touch up.

A bit more about this Receiver.

The Pioneer SX-1250 (1976–1978) is a legendary 160-watt-per-channel vintage receiver, widely considered one of the best ever built. Revered for its massive toroidal transformer, dual power supply, and incredible build quality, it delivers a warm, authoritative sound that drives almost any speaker with ease. Expect to pay between $3,000 and $5,000+ for restored units on platforms like Reverb

Sound Quality and Performance

The SX-1250 is celebrated for its effortless power and dynamic range. Even at high volumes, it maintains an incredibly low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of < 0.1%, resulting in a highly transparent, punchy sound. Audiophiles frequently praise its phono stage, which features a high overload level and remarkable RIAA equalization accuracy that prevents distortion even with demanding magnetic cartridges.

I will show the entire receipt to the buyer only

The pictures are arranged in an after and before arrangement.
