VVT 2x12 Cabinet Jack Pearson w/ EV12S & JBL E-120
Fantastic cabinet that is quite rare. Jack Pearson sponsored company that makes loud gigging amps for the former Allman Brothers guitarist. I've never seen another cabinet like this from them. It's a 2x12 with separate inputs for each speaker. Each wired separately to 8ohms. I put two unbelievable vintage speakers in there.
EVM 12S 300W (8ohms) on the bottom & a JBL E-120 300w (8ohms) on top. You can run one for that Jerry Garcia, Allman Brothers tone. Or the EVM 12S for a Mark Knopfler thing. I bought this vintage speaker because it was used in some of the original Dumble amplifiers.
The JBL has the classic jam band tone, and the EVM is like a cousin of the EVL that is more for lead guitar, clarity, and punch. Have gigged this cabinet before with Celestion's in it for weight purposes. This cabinet is very heavy obviously. These loudspeakers are very heavy and expensive these days. Incredible tone either way. The two speaker outs make this amp very versatile, combine them for 4ohms, use one at a time, whatever you want. Great headroom and quite loud.
