Up for sale is a fantastic, vintage 1983 Made in Japan Squier Precision Bass (Serial: SQ39422).
Dating from the golden era of early Japanese Squier production, this bass delivers authentic vintage P-Bass tone and incredible build quality that easily rivals its American counterparts from the same decade.

Finish: Gloss Black with a rich, dark Rosewood fretboard
Strings: D'Addario EXL160 Balanced Tension (50–120)
Upgrades & Hardware: The original bridge has been upgraded to an original 1990s Leo Quan Badass Bridge II (v1)
Condition & Professional Setup:
Playability: The bass received a comprehensive Deluxe Setup in 2024 by Sam at Ackworth (Leeds). This included a professional nut slot re-cut, fret leveling and buffing, fretboard conditioning, and intonation fixes. It is strung with a set of D'Addario EXL160 BT | 50 -120 balanced-tension strings, to match to the neck relief and achieve a nice low and responsive action.
Cosmetics: This is a "player's grade" vintage instrument. The black poly coating shows honest play wear, dings, and surface scratches built up over 40+ years of life—giving it an authentic, road-worn aesthetic
Electronics: Upgraded smooth modern pots and jack. Original pickups
