This is a brand new, right-handed Deering Artisan Goodtime Special 19-fret tenor: a 4-string resonator tenor banjo with Deering's patented Goodtime Special steel tone ring, a 3-ply violin grade maple rim and a dark red mahogany stain, made in Spring Valley, California. These are very rare and aren't even listed in the Deering dealer catalog. We are an authorized Deering dealer in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

The Pot
3-ply violin grade maple rim, 11 inches across, with Deering's patented Goodtime Special steel tone ring and an 11 inch frosted high crown head. Beveled steel tension hoop with 16 flat J-hooks and 9/32 inch hex nuts. Goodtime armrest and Deering's patented Goodtime tailpiece. Nickel plated hardware and a hand finished satin polyurethane finish.
The Neck
Rock maple neck with dark red mahogany stain and a satin finish. Midnight Maple fingerboard with vintage Artisan style inlays and an engraved peghead. 19 frets. Goodtime planetary tuners.
The Resonator
3-ply poplar, poplar and maple resonator in dark red mahogany stain with a satin finish and straight sidewalls, 13 7/8 inches across.
