The Bach 6-1/2AL is one of the most popular and versatile trombone and euphonium mouthpieces in the world, renowned for its balanced, warm, and symphonic core sound.
Compared to the standard Bach 6-1/2A, the "AL" features a slightly larger throat and a #420 backbore, originally conceived to give trombonists a broader, more Germanic/symphonic sound quality.
