Born on September 26th, 1984, This 90th Anniversary Gibson Ebony Dove has all that mojo and more. Ebony was the lowest production number..I've only seen one other for sale. You won't see another it's rumored the ebony dove anniversaries are only produced in the number of the year so this could be 1 of 90 ever made. These were built exactly to the 60/61 Dove specs. Elvis played a black dove!..This one is player grade with typical nitro checking has some scratches and bumps but presents and plays well.Has a pickup installed unsure of brand. Spruce top maple back and sides mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays and a distinctive pickguard with a mother-of-pearl dove inlay. It has a rosewood bridge with dove-shaped inlays and comes with an original chainsaw hard-shell Gibson carrying case.
