Ludwig 16" x 16" Vintage 1969 Silver Sparkle Floor Tom

Vintage 16" x 16" Ludwig floor tom from the early Blue & Olive badge era, finished in original Silver Sparkle.
Serial number 789490 falls within Ludwig's published 1969 Blue & Olive badge serial range. This was the transitional period when Ludwig moved from the classic Keystone badge to the first-generation Blue & Olive badge.
The drum features the desirable vintage shell with reinforcement rings and clear natural maple interior, characteristic of Ludwig's late-1960s construction.
The original Silver Sparkle finish has faded considerably with age, giving the drum a much paler, subdued appearance than its original silver. This aging is particularly worth noting for anyone looking to match the drum with an existing vintage kit.
The internal tone control/muffler is missing. Please see photos for the exact cosmetic condition and degree of fading.
