Discrete-circuit bass preamp that faithfully recreates the tone of a vintage Fender Bassman tube amp.
Rich, thick sound with punch that doesn't spoil the instrument's natural tone. The natural compression and tonal texture feel like playing through a high-quality tube amp. The Treble, Middle, and Bass controls behave less like an EQ and more like the tone controls of a classic tube amp, interacting with each other for a musical, very expressive sound. Switching DRV mode on gives an overdrive sound with separately adjustable volume and tone, so you can switch from the always-on preamp to a drive sound without noticeable level or tonal jumps.
This is the ultimate version of the model, with added "IN H/L SW." and "D.EQ SW." switches. Serial #993, in a very clean turquoise finish with a Western pattern.
Era: 2020s
Accessories: none
Staff: Sano
Warranty: 1 month from date of purchase.
