The Loop-Master Pedals Dual NC Aux Footswitch is a passive two-button expander designed for compatible Disaster Area Designs controllers that use the PBA-EXP switching configuration.

Featuring two normally-closed (NC) momentary footswitches and a single TRS output, this compact controller provides additional hands-free access to tap tempo, favorite presets, looper controls, bank navigation and other supported functions.

No MIDI programming inside the footswitch. No batteries. No external power required.

DISASTER AREA DESIGNS COMPATIBILITY

Designed as an alternative to the PBA-EXP Expander Switch for compatible controllers including:

• Disaster Area DMC-6 Gen3
• Disaster Area DMC-8 Gen3
• Disaster Area DMC-6D Gen2

Connect using a standard 1/4" TRS cable.

For compatible Gen3 controllers, use the designated MultiJack 2 connection.

For the compatible Gen2 controller, use its external footswitch connection.

DMC-6 / DMC-8 GEN3 FUNCTIONS

Depending on the controller's setup configuration, the two external switches can provide:

2TAP MODE

• Tap Tempo
• Favorite Preset

2LPR MODE

• Looper Record / Overdub
• Looper Play / Stop

2BNK MODE

• Bank Up
• Bank Down

These functions are assigned through the connected Disaster Area controller's setup options.

DMC-6D GEN2 FUNCTIONS

On the compatible DMC-6D Gen2 controller, the external switches provide access to:

• Tap Tempo
• Favorite Preset

The controller determines the actual functions.

HOW THE SWITCHES WORK

Both switches use normally-closed momentary contacts.

SWITCH 1

• Tip to Sleeve
• Normally Closed
• Pressing temporarily opens the connection

SWITCH 2

• Ring to Sleeve
• Normally Closed
• Pressing temporarily opens the connection

When released, each switch returns to its normally-closed state.

Both switches connect through one standard 1/4" TRS jack.

MORE THAN JUST DISASTER AREA

This controller can also be used with other equipment that accepts two independent normally-closed momentary switches through a single TRS connection.
