Here's a lovely c.1950 Boehm system clarinet in Bb, made by Dolnet, Lefevre & Pigis of Paris. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a large bore of .585". All pieces are in good shape, with no repairs. A great French maker of clarinets and saxophones, Dolnet Lefèvre & Pigis, 1880-1898; became Dolnet & Lefèvre 1989-1908, then Henri Dolnet, in Mantes-la-Jolie, c. 1909-1986. Their saxophones are finally receiving the attention they deserve, but the clarinets are still relatively unknown, hence the low price for a quality instrument!
It was just overhauled:  disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This rare clarinet is in good shape for its years and plays with a big, open tone and good intonation. Comes with period case in solid  condition.
