Vintage American-style ten-string tiple, attributed to Regal and believed to date from the 1920s–1930s. No maker’s label or serial number has been found, so the manufacturer and date are not authenticated.

Features a natural wood finish, colorful patterned trim around the top and soundhole, slotted headstock, dot fingerboard markers, ten open-gear tuners, and a decorative metal tailpiece.

The instrument shows substantial finish wear, scratches, checking, and hardware tarnish. “C.P.S.” initials are carved into the back of the headstock. The bridge assembly and tailpiece may reflect previous modifications; repair history and component originality are unknown.

Playing condition has not been verified. Offered as an unrestored vintage instrument that may require setup or repair, rather than as a restored, ready-to-play example.

Includes the case that came with it, believed to be original. The case is damaged but functional.

Please examine all photographs for condition. Additional photographs available upon request.

$349 plus shipping. Offers welcome.
