Schecter C-8 Deluxe in Satin Black

The Schecter C-8 Deluxe is a purpose-built eight-string platform engineered for extended-range clarity and comfortable sustained play across the wider fretboard. Dual Diamond Plus pickups deliver articulate output with tight low-end response suited to modern metal and progressive styles, while the thin 'C' neck profile and responsive 28" scale minimize hand fatigue during demanding sessions. The satin black finish resists fingerprints and conveys professional restraint.

Tone and Hardware

Schecter Diamond Plus bridge and neck pickups articulate clearly across all eight strings with controlled bass response ideal for extended-range work. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body design anchors the instrument solidly and maximizes sustain and clarity through the basswood body, while standard volume and tone controls with a 3-way selector switch deliver straightforward tonal shaping without unnecessary complexity.

Playability and Construction

The maple neck with thin 'C' profile (.787" at the 1st fret, .866" at the 12th fret) provides a fast playing surface that reduces hand strain during extended sessions, while the rosewood fretboard with 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets and 16" radius supports both lead work and chording across the full range. A 2-way adjustable truss rod with 5/32" allen nut allows straightforward neck relief adjustments, and the graphite nut at 2.125" width ensures stable intonation and even string spacing across all eight strings.
