A pre-owned 2025 Gibson Custom Shop, flagship, Doves In Flight dreadnought guitar.
What a treat this guitar is, both visually and sonically. Coming from Gibson’s Custom Shop, this guitar is the top end dreadnought that they offer and it shows. Everything has been poured into this one. It’s an absolute stunner and the pictures don’t really do it justice.
Built with a premium sitka spruce top, with a wonderful flamed maple back and sides with the classic Gibson red tint to it, this one just sings. The Doves in Flight incorporates the features of the legendary Dove with some of the finest decorative work in the industry. The Doves in Flight displays 28 individually engraved dove inlays—seven on the headstock, 16 on the fingerboard, three on the pick guard, and two on the bridge—each with its own original design. Each tuner knob is hand engraved for full detail. Now hand built using premium ebony on the fingerboard and bridge.
This one comes to us in fantastic pre-owned condition, with one very tiny, almost unnoticeable ding to the top and a few very small light spots to the wood underneath the lacquer finish on the top, (coming from the factory like this). It also comes stage ready with a top of the range LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed. It travels in its very substantial, luxury Gibson Custom Shop hard case.
At a retail of £9500, this comes at a substantial saving for a very lucky player looking to get themselves the best that Gibson has to offer.
