Offered here is a 2024 Gibson Custom Shop RD Custom finished in Ebony Gloss with gold hardware and custom mother-of-pearl inlays. This USA-made Gibson combines the RD’s unmistakable body shape with premium Custom Shop appointments, a long-scale mahogany neck, and the classic pairing of Gibson 490R and 498T pickups.
The deep black finish contrasts beautifully with the gold hardware, while the mother-of-pearl block inlays and custom split-diamond headstock inlay give this RD an especially distinctive appearance.

The guitar is in excellent overall condition, with some scratches on the body from minor use. I have tried to photograph any imperfections I could find. Please examine the photos carefully for a detailed view of the instrument's cosmetic condition.
- Frets: Approximately 80% remaining
- Neck: Straight
- Truss rod: Functioning properly, with no known issues
- Tuners: Replaced with GOTOH Magnum Lock locking tuners
The guitar is currently strung with Elixir OPTIWEB .010–.046 strings.
Please note that the tuners are replacements; the rest of the guitar is original to the best of my knowledge.

This guitar was originally sourced from Japan, which explains why some of the accompanying literature is in Japanese. Despite its Japanese-market origin, this is a USA-made Gibson Custom Shop instrument.
