Rycote Super-Shield Kit, Medium.

Complete, genuine Rycote Super-Shield Kit (Medium) blimp system with integrated patented Lyre suspension, pistol grip, low-profile XLR cable, and official high-grade synthetic fur Windjammer cover.

Key Features & Mic Compatibility:

• Fits Industry-Standard Shotgun Mics: Accommodates microphones from 200 mm to 250 mm in length with 19 mm to 25 mm diameter. Ideal match for the Schoeps CMIT 5U, Sennheiser MKH 416, Røde NTG3, and Neumann KMR 81i.
• Patented Lyre Suspension: Virtually eliminates handling and boom-pole rumble with zero elastic bands to sag or perish.
• Modular Basket Design: Rigid front and rear pods twist and unlock effortlessly for quick microphone insertion and maintenance.
• High-Level Wind Protection: Lightweight aerodynamic mesh basket provides excellent attenuation on its own, upgraded with the slip-on furry Windjammer for extreme outdoor and high-wind recording environments.
• Integrated Connectivity & Mounting: Ergonomic pistol grip with 3/8" brass threading for boom pole mounting, fitted with an ultra-thin low-profile XLR jumper cable.

Excellent cosmetic and structural condition. Basket mesh is completely intact with no cracks, dents, or broken locking latches. The Lyre suspensions are firm, the pistol grip locks securely, and the internal XLR jumper cable delivers clean, transparent audio without crackle.
