This will be a bittersweet sale for me!

I really enjoy this guitar, but I am selling to fund another purchase.

Changes/Upgrades:

-Hand Carved Bone Nut from Dang Decent Guitars here in Houston

-Frets have been leveled and polished

-Wiring completely new with brand new components (pots, switch, and output jack) (every thing is CTS, Pure Tone, Oak Grigsby, etc., quality stuff)

-Complete set-up (intonation, action adjustment, neck relief, the works!)

-Graph Tech Compensated String Saver Saddles (prevents broken strings and improves intonation)

-Switch was changed from 4-way to standard Tele 3-way configuration

-JBE Joe Barden Modern Danny Gatton pickups added.

Lots of clarity, plenty of output, but very natural and dynamic. Like a great set of single coils with a lot more “beef”.

I had planned to keep this guitar for a real long time… but plans have to change sometimes. I know I’m not going to get all the money I put into it back, so I won’t be pricing it outrageously… just fairly.

Do a little research on the Classic Player series. It was dreamt up by one of the Custom Shop Masterbuilders. It’s a Made in Mexico version of a guitar they used to do all the time in the Custom Shop.

This one dates to 2007.

Can you believe how good it looks?

Weight is 8.2 lbs

From the Fender website:

The unconventional Telecaster fan will appreciate the unconventional style of the Classic Player Baja Telecaster. Designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Chris Fleming, it looks like a traditional Tele®, but boasts several mods that transform it into a full-voiced true Classic Player, such as Custom Shop-designed pickups, special tone circuitry and switching, and more.
