Rare black version Ashly SC-55 stereo peak limiter/compressor, this thing has been incredibly useful to me over the years. The black model came later than the blue versions, these are smoother and more musical, but can still get really punchy/grabby if pushed hard. I primarily used this for parallel drum compression but even put it on the mix buss when the occasion called for it. Really underrated units, I’m only selling because I’m clearing some space in my studio. I’ll be sad to see this one go. It’s in great condition for its age, and still sounds as great as it did the day I fired it up.
