The slimmed-down Centavo is comfortable acting as a boost pedal, but the saturation in the higher gain settings provide a platform for true “transparent” overdriven rhythm tones. Like the full-sized Centavo, Centavo Mod retains the rear-panel “MOD” switch, famously requested by Jeff Beck on the original pedal. This control extends the bass response for added low-end drive and weight on the lower strings.. 100% of the features, components, and circuit integrity of the original Centavo is preserved in the smaller version for those who want the true-to-vintage experience without the vintage size.
