MINT CONDITION: Elysia Karacter 500 – Discrete Class-A Stereo Saturator

Up for sale is an absolutely mint condition Elysia Karacter 500. As seen in the photos, the front panel is flawless and the internal components are pristine. This unit has been meticulously cared for in a professional hybrid mastering studio environment and operates perfectly.

The Karacter 500 is a complete all-in-one solution packed with vibrant colors, built on a discrete Class-A topology. It covers a complete spectrum of tonal coloration, from subtle mastering-grade saturation to glorious tube-inspired destruction.

Key Features & Processing Modes:

• Mastering-Grade Saturation: Generates gentle Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) with a soft characteristic curve and symmetrical clipping. Perfect for fattening up buses, stems, and complete mixes while keeping the core sound intact.
• Tube-Inspired Distortion (FET Shred): Instantly shifts the behavior to emulate tube amplifiers, offering a wide range of asymmetrical distortion.
• Glorious Destruction (Turbo Boost): Exclusive to the FET Shred mode, this shifts the operating point of the distortion circuit to generate even more extreme, asymmetrical waveforms.
• Mid/Side (M/S) Processing: Features an integrated M/S encoder/decoder. In unlinked M/S mode, you can process the mid and side signals completely independent of each other (e.g., heavily saturate the center while leaving the sides completely dry).
• Mix Control: Integrated mix stages for parallel processing, allowing you to blend the direct (Dry) and processed (Wet) signals in any desired relation.
• Flexible Operation: Operates in dual mono, linked stereo, or linked and unlinked M/S modes.
