This is a good example of the Lexicon 960 LD, with the digital I/O, LARC II remote control, and the connection cable and original boxing, original manual, and even the stickers that came with the unit 23 years ago. This is a heavy duty professional unit, and the LARC II is coveted as proof of being in a real studio. I installed a second board years ago which allows you to do 4 channels of stereo (or 8 single channels of mono) at 96K. Or you can operate 4 stereo or 8 channels mono at 48K and have a spare board. Or do surround sound. I also just had it gone through by Beamish Electronics in Cleveland (Lexicon specialists) and it is in great working condition. It shows some typical wear, but not very much as it has sat in the same rack for over 2 decades.. I also had the fans and power supply replaced with more efficient units, so that the unit does not make nearly as much noise or get as warm as the original units did, but all of the circuits and programming are original. It has 8 AES digital inputs and 8 AES digital output connections (4 AES stereo connections for input and 4 stereo for output), which is important, as you can go in and out of your own converters without using a 23 yr old Lexicon internal converter and thus maintain minimal latency and high quality. I bought this new in about 2003 for $13,000, and it gives you lush reverb and sounds better than any plug-in (my opinion). This is not a simple plug and play reverb, but has deep capabilities and amazing sound, and this unit can off load your reverb, freeing up your computer and allow your computer to do a better job at other tasks in the process. I have owned this Lexicon 960 LD since new, and I am in Virginia, in the USA. This is the complete unit, with the main processor, the LARC II remote in good condition, cables, and will be shipped in the original boxes from 23 years ago, with the original manual.

If you use ProTools Ultimate, I am also selling my 16 channel digital I/O box separately (see my separate add for this - coming soon, for sale separately at $750.00), which links the Lexicon directly into ProTools Ultimate, using the included Digilink mini-cable to your Avid hardware and includes the AES Digital cable connectors (a custom cable with 8 AES connectors to one DB-25. It is the newer dark gray Avid unit, requiring 2 rack units (see the photos in that add). If you wish to buy the 16 channel digital I/O box and connector cable and Digilink cable together with this reverb, I will negotiate a slightly better price for the cables. In order to use the Lexicon 960LD, you will need to convert the AES signal to get it into your DAW, and this included converter and cables will supply you with a ready to go system for ProTools Ultimate. Please look at the photos carefully and ask any questions you might have. The cost of shipping is significant, and returning this unit would be expensive. If you do not already know about and understand the Lexicon 960LD, it is likely not for you and please ask me about it before you buy. I expect it to find a nice home in Nashville, Atlanta, or LA, in a commercial studio there. But.......Thank you for looking.
