The Elation DP series consists of compact, lightweight 4-channel lighting controllers that function as either a dimmer pack or a power switch pack. They allow you to control traditional, non-DMX lighting fixtures (such as halogen stage lights or special effects) using standard DMX-512 signals from a lighting console. Depending on the specific model, they offer either single or dual Edison outlets per channel to daisy-chain multiple fixtures simultaneously.

• Dual Operating Modes: Can be assigned globally or via a mode selector switch as either a Dimmer Pack (0–100% smooth dimming) or a Switch Pack (instant on/off power relay for effects).

• Flexible Channel Configuration: Offers 4 independent output channels. For example, the DP-415 provides two 3-prong Edison sockets per channel (8 total plugs), letting you connect and control up to 8 fixtures across the 4 zones.

• Simple DMX Addressing: Equipped with a standard 10-position DIP switch panel on the chassis face to quickly set the binary DMX patch address and operational modes.

• Visual Status Monitoring: Includes real-time LED "On" indicators for each individual channel that dim or brighten alongside your lights, as well as a dedicated DMX signal confirmation LED.

• Rigging Versatility: Designed with a reversible/changeable hanging bracket allowing it to be safely mounted to a lighting truss, wall, or attached directly to a standard O-clamp.

• Circuit Protection: Built-in zero-crossing circuitry protects transformer/inductive loads when cycling power, supplemented by independent channel fuses.

For the effective control of par cans via dimmer packs the Stage Setter 8 from ADJ offers versatility of operation through 3 different operating modes, four build-in programs, and eight user programmable programs. It operates using standard DMX-512 protocol, is MIDI compatible, and includes a fog machine output control.
