This is a very high quality Kay tenor Banjo!
It plays well, has been set up by a luthier who plays Banjo , and is made of high quality woods and materials.
The tuners are good replacements.
The case is original, in fair condition.
Mahogany veneer over the maple ring
A maple back ,
Mahogany neck .
Rosewood fretboard . This era was the peak of Kay’s build quality and this instrument is a very kool example of it !
sounds a bit otherworldly..
Nice clean tone!
