The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to offer this Preowned SoloDallas The Schaffer Replica Bass-X Pedal in Mint Condition. Based on Ken Schaffer’s legendary 1970s Schaffer-Vega Diversity System (SVDS) wireless unit, the Bass-X captures the exact analog compressor/expander dynamics, optical limiter punch, and interactive preamp harmonic richness that defined classic rock recordings—specially tuned and optimized to handle the extended low frequencies and high-transient attack of electric bass.
Sanctuary Expert Note: "The original Schaffer wireless wasn't just a signal transmitter—it was an accidental secret weapon that added remarkable punch, presence, and dynamic glue to studio bass and guitar tracks. The Bass-X recreates that exact circuit topology without requiring a bulky wireless transmitter, giving bassists a studio-grade preamp and compression boost that locks your tone into the mix."
