Made in Japan, the Ibanez AZ2204NWVR Prestige combines classic styling with modern playing comfort and versatile electronics. Its Vermillion Red gloss finish, alder body, and thoughtfully contoured shape make it an appealing choice for players seeking one guitar for a wide range of musical styles.

Comfortable Neck and Precision Fretwork

The AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD roasted maple neck features an oil finish for a smooth playing feel. A rosewood fingerboard with a 228–305 mm compound radius supports comfortable chord playing and expressive leads. Its 22 jumbo stainless steel frets feature Prestige fret edge treatment, while the Super All Access Neck Joint provides comfortable access to the upper frets.

Nine Sounds with Seymour Duncan Fortuna Pickups

Seymour Duncan Fortuna single-coil neck and middle pickups pair with a bridge humbucker for balanced, articulate tones. The dyna-MIX9 switching system combines a five-way selector with an Alter Switch to provide nine sound variations, including a setting that connects the two single coils in series for a humbucker-style sound.

Gotoh Hardware and Included Protection

The Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge features brass saddles and a brass tremolo block, with 10.5 mm string spacing and a non-recessed bridge cavity. Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners with height-adjustable posts offer secure string locking. Luminlay side dots improve fretboard visibility on dark stages, and an included hardshell case protects the instrument during storage and transport.
