Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-Bass Neck Pickup

The Antiquity P-Bass Neck Pickup delivers the warm, articulate midrange and woody fundamental that defined precision bass tone in the 1960s. This hand-crafted pickup captures the character of vintage instruments without sacrificing clarity or output, making it ideal for players seeking authentic vintage voicing with modern reliability.

Construction & Materials

Hand-fabricated forbon bobbins, waxed cloth pushback wire, and hand-ground sand-cast magnets form the core of this pickup's vintage character. The construction is completed with a brass bottom plate and lacquered finish, then potted in lamp black paraffin wax to ensure stability and reduce microphonic noise while preserving the open, resonant tone that defines the Antiquity series.
