I believe this was the initial run of the GPCPA Series. If you are a finger picker, this is the guitar for you, although it rings nicely as a strummer. I played 3 of them, and this one had the most depth, and ‘voice’ of them all. I am the sole owner, and it has not left my possession. This is easily the most comfortable guitar I’ve ever played. The top is much better than the vast majority of those of this ilk I’ve seen.
The F1 pickup system is incredibly diverse. Of course a tuner, but also presets for various tones (9 I believe), that all can be tweaked and saved. You can adjust it all on the fly (check the video on UTube for detailed instructions, but it's all out there on Martin's site.)
The only flaw I’ve been able to find is a scratch on the facade of the tuning area (pictured). It does not extend to the underlying structure. Probably some idiocy on my part changing strings. Such is life.
