Epiphone Zephyr Regent Guitar 1953

I added a You Tube video to the listing.....

A very nice, great sounding and playing 1953 Epiphone Zephyr Regent archtop guitar with original crimson-lined vintage hard brown case offered for sale here. The Epiphone Zephyr Regent guitar is in excellent condition and is remarkably clean and bright for its age. All of the hardware is original, including the New Yorker pickup, bridge, pick guard and hardware, pots and knobs, tail piece and tulip Epiphone branded matching tuners. The body is maple laminate and the fingerboard is brazilian rosewood with "H" shaped block inlays. The string height is 3/32 at the low E string 12th fret and 3/32 inches at the high E String 12th fret.
As seen in the photos, there are several small binding repairs to the guitar that are professionally done. There is also an area of wear notable on the top near the bass side of the tail piece. At the tailpiece feet there are "sharpie" markings on the body to facilitate relocation of the bridge when shipping the guitar or working on it. As heard in the You Tube video,The New Yorker pickup has strong output and the volume and tone control work as they should, the volume tone could iuse a squirt of cleaner but I'll let the buyer do that.
The original Epiphone hard shell case is in overall very good condition, as seen in the last photo there are two holes that somehow got poked in the bottom of the case, I leave it up to the buyer to cover them with duct tape if they wish, Amazon has a roll of Brown Industrial Grade Duct Tape they sell.

The pictures pretty much tell the story, if you have any questions pertaining to the guitar and case, feel free to ask them.  I have described this 1953 Epiphone Zephyr Regent archtop guitar and their condition accurately and am selling it as described with no returns due to its age and vintage condition.
