Want the new American Professional II Stratocaster but don't want to gamble with the "deep C" neck? Here's one with the tried and true Modern C which has proved itself as a favorite over 18 years.

Here's the scoop:

Neck is from a 2007 Deluxe Strat with locking tuners and a super dark and beautiful rosewood fretboard. You won't find either of those on the new American Pro II's.

Body is a 2021 American Professional II which is mint condition. I can't even see any signs of playwear. It has a nice thin finish which resists fingerprints very well.

This body and neck pairing is surprisingly resonant. It honestly sounds better acoustically than either neck or body matched with their original counterparts. I just preferred the color of the other body I had and can't afford to keep both.

Pickups are the new V-Mod II pickups which really aren't that much different than the boutique pickups I have in my other strat. The neck uses Alnico 2/3 for warm lows and clear highs, the middle mixes Alnico 2 and 5 for a vintage tone, and the bridge uses Alnico 5 for increased punch.

Almost zero playwear on the frets. The only flaw on the entire guitar are those faint little marks on the back of the headstock you can see in the pics.

The pickguard, trem, and tweed hardshell case are from the 2007 Deluxe. The deluxe did not come with the tremolo bar when I bought it so please note it is not included.
