The Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Custom Figured in Charcoal Widow Burst combines the refined appointments of a Les Paul Custom with the modern playability of Gibson's Axcess design. Built with a hand-selected AAA figured maple top, weight-relieved mahogany body, and contoured neck heel, this Custom Shop instrument offers the familiar Les Paul construction with improved access to the upper frets. Its Charcoal Widow Burst gloss finish extends across the top, back, sides, and neck, complemented by nickel hardware and traditional Les Paul Custom appointments.

The mahogany body features Gibson's Axcess weight relief and a carved AAA figured maple top. Seven-ply black and white binding outlines the top, while the sculpted body contours and contoured heel provide a more comfortable playing experience than a traditional Les Paul Custom. The gloss Charcoal Widow Burst finish highlights the figured maple grain, while the absence of a pickguard leaves the top fully visible.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Les Paul Axcess Custom profile, measuring approximately .835" at the first fret and .985" at the twelfth. Its reinforced Apex headstock and contoured heel are designed to improve stability and upper-fret accessibility. The bound ebony fingerboard features tapered mother-of-pearl block inlays and Jescar medium-jumbo fretwire. A 24.75" scale length and Corian nut complete the neck specifications.

The electronics feature a Gibson 496R humbucker in the neck position and a 498T humbucker in the bridge. Both pickups use four-conductor wiring and are paired with push-pull tone controls that provide series/parallel switching for additional tonal options. Traditional volume and tone controls, along with a three-way pickup selector, maintain the familiar Les Paul control layout. A nickel ABR-1 Historic bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide the hardware foundation, complemented by Grover tuners with nickel keystone buttons. A Gibson Custom Les Paul case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
