I’m selling a Sound City L120 amp head in good condition, despite being 56 years old.
Based on the serial number and the date marked on one of the original capacitors, the amp head was manufactured in 1970, making it one of the first 120 units produced by Dallas Arbiter.
It features the polished metal front panel and its original knobs.
The amp head has been serviced and fitted with a new set of tubes. It features six Electro-Harmonix EL34 power tubes and JJ preamp tubes.
The original electrolytic capacitors were also replaced, but the old ones have been kept, as they had reached the end of their service life.
As you can see in the photos, the amp is equipped with the famous Partridge transformers.
