Gibson 1964 J-50.
A key feature of 1964 is the pickguard: before 1964, Gibson used a thin, large tortoise-pattern pickguard, while afterward the spec moved to a thick, large pickguard with a strong reddish tone.
The regular neck has a 42.5mm nut width and a moderately full grip - highly recommended for players who don't get along with narrow necks.
The J-50 has a charm all its own, distinct from the J-45; the reddish pickguard looks great against the natural finish.

Playing scratches, small dings, and minor marks consistent with age.
Crack repair (glued only) on the back, left of center.
New nut and frets fitted.
Wood damage at the lower left of the body; no cracking is present, so there is no structural concern.

Action at the 12th fret: 2.4mm low E side, 1.9mm high E side.
The adjustable saddle allows the action to be raised or lowered.
No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good.
