After several years of loyal service, it's time for me to part with this guitar I've truly enjoyed upgrading over the years.
The build: flawless craftsmanship from the start — nothing to complain about, which is exactly why I decided to give it a second life rather than replace it.
The finish: the original paint job was awful. A thick layer, like plastic laid over the wood, so bad it even generated static electricity on the pickguard. So I had the instrument fully repainted by a professional, with a light relic treatment to give it some character.
The electronics: the original pickups were too hot and were choking my vintage fuzz pedals. I replaced them with hand-wound pickups made in France by CB Pickups — the tone is far more balanced, and the fuzzes finally breathe.
The result: a healthy, great-playing guitar with real character. Perfect for someone looking for an instrument with a soul.
