Up for sale is a rare, limited edition Ernie Ball Music Man BFR John Petrucci Majesty in the highly sought-after Marine Blue Sparkle finish. Released in 2018 as part of an exclusive, limited run of only 118 pieces worldwide, this guitar features a complete gloss finish over the entire body, neck, and headstock, alongside a striking markless “runway” ebony fretboard flaked by twin strips of white pearl.
In full transparency, this guitar is priced as a premium “player-grade” instrument rather than a pristine collector’s item.
I bought this from a consignment retailer and it did not come with a certificate of authenticity, but I have authenticated it through the Ernie Ball website and can share screenshots upon request. Also, the John Petrucci signature has experienced significant wear/fading.
