The R-1 (originally released as the Rogue One) is Cog's flagship bass fuzz: two full Grand Tarkin fuzz channels plus a parallel analog sub-octave channel taken from the T-70. Each fuzz channel has Clean, Level, Tone, Mids and Fuzz, plus a Depth switch (Triangle / Russian / NYC-style clipping voicings) and a Clip switch to pull the diodes for a more open sound. Three footswitches: Engage, A/B to swap fuzz channels on the fly, and Sub to kick in the octave. Clean Kill toggles mute the clean signal when the sub is engaged so levels stay balanced, and the Filter knob shapes the octave from fuzzy to pure sub. Equally at home as a synth-bass box or a wall of fuzz for rock and doom. True bypass, engraved aluminium enclosure, handbuilt in Sheffield, UK.
Cosmetics: light swirl marks on the brushed finish, labels fully legible. Velcro on the bottom. Everything works as it should. Pedal only, no box or power supply
