How's it going! You're looking at a Vintage Alvarez Yairi CY-116 Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar (System 500A)!

This beautiful vintage Alvarez Yairi CY-116 "La Granja" classical acoustic-electric guitar is a stunning example of master-tier Japanese luthiery. Handcrafted in the late 1980s to early 1990s, this premium instrument pairs a highly responsive solid Western Red Cedar top with exceptionally figured, jaw-dropping Burled Mahogany back and sides. In the hand, the mahogany neck features a traditional profile that provides excellent structural stability for proper classical fretting. Fully equipped for live performance or studio recording, it features the original factory-mounted Alvarez System 500A onboard acoustic preamp with a 3-band EQ and contour sweep control to flawlessly translate its rich acoustic voice through an amplifier.

Cosmetically, this guitar is in great used condition showing a few minor dings and scratches around the body from previous use. Please refer to the photos provided for the most accurate representation of its physical condition. All of the electronics are in working order and the neck is straight. The intonation is spot on, the action is excellent and there is no fret wear apparent from previous use. This Alvarez comes with its original hard shell case and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner for years to come!
