The Ludwig Jazz Festival is an iconic Ludwig snare drum, originally developed in the 1950s, and gaining in popularity throughout the '60s and early '70s. Three-ply shell with white-painted interior, eight bow-tie lugs, P83 strainer, 'baseball bat' tone control, and original heads and snare wires. Light surface rust on the nickel plating, and some cracking on the interior paint. A lovely drum in great working order, that sounds crisp, clean, and sensitive from the outer rim to the center of the head.
