The hoop itself is in good shape. This hoop came on a 5x14 Noble and Cooley Solid Maple Steam Bent shell that I purchased years ago. For some reason I always had a hard time fitting Evans drum heads in it. Remo heads seemed to work much better. I inquired to N&C about this and ended up simply purchasing a replacement hoop.
