The Gibson SJ200 is one of the world's most famous acoustic guitars, and since its inception in 1937, the Gibson SJ200 has earned its place as an icon within the world of acoustic guitars. With a rich history and a sound that has become legendary over the decades, the SJ200 proudly bears the title "King of the Flat-Tops."

This SJ200 Original embodies everything that makes the SJ200 so beloved by generations of musicians. With its distinctive 'four bar moustache' bridge, striking engraved tortoise pickguard, and refined mother-of-pearl crown fingerboard and headstock inlays, this guitar exudes the classic charm of its predecessors. The sound of the Gibson SJ200 is just as impressive as its appearance. The combination of high-quality materials, such as the beautifully flamed maple for the back and sides, and the craftsmanship with which this guitar is built, results in an extraordinary sound.

With a warm, full tone and amazing projection, the SJ200 offers an unparalleled sound experience. The maple body gives the guitar clarity and definition in the highs, while the deep, rich basses form a solid foundation for every chord and note. What truly sets the SJ200 apart is its excellent resonance.

This SJ200 was built in 2025 and is in excellent condition. There is a fairly substantial mark on the top near the pickguard, and there is light buckle wear on the back of the body. For the guitarist who simply wants to take this guitar to the stage, this will undoubtedly not be a hindrance, as the guitar plays and sounds fantastic!
