This made in Japan Fender TL52-900 Telecaster Reissue plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a light ash body, "C" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard. This example has been tastefully upgraded with Sperzel locking tuner, and a USA Pure Vintage '62 neck pickup, which works nicely with the stock USA Pure Vintage '52 bridge pickup. 

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The body has quite a bit of finish wear, especially on the back and along the sides. The previous tuner holes are also visible underneath the locking tuners. There's a red stain on the side of the headstock and the hardware shows normal tarnishing from over time. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life left and the electronics work as they should.

The neck pickup has been swapped for a Fender USA Pure Vintage '62 Custom Neck Pickup. The Sperzel locking tuners and pickup selector switch tip are also later replacements. This guitar is otherwise original.
