Instead of the standard humbucker found in a regular Bluesboy, this factory variant features an in-house wound G&L P-90 pickup in the neck position. It pairs beautifully with the legendary, Leo Fender-designed MFD single-coil in the bridge.The neck P-90 is perfectly voiced and slightly under-wound to avoid getting muddy, delivering fat, glassy, and articulate tones. The bridge MFD pickup delivers massive punch, clarity, and adjustable pole pieces for perfect string-to-string balance. Together, they offer incredible tonal versatility from smooth jazz and blues to biting rock and twang.
